The 0.2 mile long Bike and Bus Lanes abruptly end in an awkward and dangerous fashion. No “normal” travel lane would ever end this way! Bicyclists are sandwiched between busses merging left and motorists merging right.
The Bike Lane on South Columbia Street is a paper that describes the road BEFORE and AFTER the striping was reconfigured for the dedicated Bike and Bus Lanes. It shows that the new striping is far worse for bicyclists and other road users with manufactured conflicts, and that the newly placed Shared Lane Markings are dangerously misleading.
